Can customers personalise Printful products on WooCommerce? What personalisation actually requires with Printful and WooCommerce, which part of it a sync plugin cannot do, and the three routes that work today.

Printful shipping rates in WooCommerce: live rates or flat rate? The trade-off between live Printful shipping rates and WooCommerce flat rates, why live rates can empty a cart, and how to set flat rates that do not lose money.

Who writes this

These notes are written by sellerkit. We build a Printful sync plugin for WooCommerce (below), which is why we know these failure modes.

PODSync for WooCommerce, which copies Printful products, prices and availability into WooCommerce, and tells you when a run fails

PODSync Pro

Pro sits on top of the free plugin and never switches anything off. It is worth paying for when a quiet sync failure would cost you a sale: real variations with their own price and stock, paid orders held for your approval, and live rates that cannot block a checkout. What you get for $39 a year.

It adds:

Every size and colour becomes a real WooCommerce variation, each with its own price, code and stock
Paid orders sent to Printful, held for your approval by default. They arrive there as drafts, so nothing goes into production until you confirm it
Live shipping rates at checkout, off until you switch them on. If Printful is slow or unsure, no rate is added and your own shipping methods are used, so the cart is never held up
